At the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2008 White Canvas Designs has created a beautiful tented pavilion for the George Harrison memorial Garden. Entitled 'From Life to Life', the garden was conceived and designed by Yvonne Innes and sponsored by Olivia Harrison.  Yvonne's idea was to make a garden that reflected George's journey through life, his beginnings in Liverpool, the colourful 60's and his focus on the spiritual life. The tent was to stand for the afterlife and was modelled on Indian stone pavilions from Palaces in Rajastan.

White Canvas Bespoke design team Fay Hutchcroft and Justin Varcoe designed and developed the new tented Pavilion.

This magnificent tent stands 5metres tall, it has a canvas roof with stainless steel and glass finials. The posts are lime washed oak with etched stainless steel panels creating the arches.

The interior has a lining of hand made silk with reflective mirrors.

The White Canvas bespoke Design team, Fay Hutchcroft and Justin Varcoe, are very happy to take commissions for future work either along similar lines to this beautiful tent or for a completely new idea. They particularly enjoy making something innovative that reflects either an idea or a particular place. Although their expertise is in Indian styles, they are at present working on new commissions that are very contemporary.
